Samsung just released their new flagship phone and it creating a lot of buzz with the new features that its coming with. The Galaxy lineup has been Samsungs flagship phone for years now, this year they bring new innovation and technology that has never been seen before in a phone. This year there was a big emphasis on AI technology and how its going to help many users with some of their day to day tasks.
AI Technology
In Samsungs presentation they talked about how AI technology is going to be used in this new phone. One of the new features being circle to search or AI generative fill/ Enhance photos that the user may take and many more. These features could definitely be something that makes peoples lives a lot easier and better as a whole.

“Circle to search” is a new feature on the S24 Ultra that is actually very interesting. The title of the the new feature tells exactly what it does. Imagine a scenario where you see something that you want to know more about, so now with the “Circle to Search” you can get more info about a certain topic straight from the tab/app they’re on. This is definitely a lot better than having to switch apps or create a new tab to learn about specific topics.

Live translate is definitely one of the most interesting features that Samsung introduced to their new flagship phone. Although it may not be used as often for many people, it’s still very interesting because of the potential it can bring for things like those that work in foreign business affairs.Live translate basically translates a call when the user is speaking to some one speaking a different language.

Like many of the previous Samsung Galaxy phones the Galaxy S24 Ultra boasts an amazing camera. This year they bring a new and interesting feature to the camera. With the Epic AI Camera it allows the users to take more vibrant and sharp photos enhanced by AI technology. Another, feature is photo editing after with generative edit where users can remove or move a person/object and AI will fill in the gap allowing for a nicer photo.

On the outside of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra like Apple they chose to go with a Titanium shell for the phone, but not only that they added a Gorilla screen making it tougher than before to damage the phone screen. With the this new phone users who own it won’t have to worry about their phone breaking on a drop like many in the world do.

Samsung promotes their fastest NPU yet, stating its 41% faster than previous generations for AI processing specifically. Allowing people to now have to worry about their phone slowing down when using AI related features.

Not only does the Galaxy S24 Ultra have a faster NPU, but it also contains a better graphics card allowing people to play more high intensive games and also a faster CPU to create a smoother experience on the new phone. They also introduced raytracing as well which play into them wanting the phone to be a bit more gamer friendly.
Conclusion
The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is a very interesting phone, it brings a lot of new features that haven’t really been seen before in the Galaxy line. Realistically only time will tell weather all these features are actually worth the hype and the price.
